Is this a generic part for all calibras? I own a 1992 C20XE 2.0 NON Turbo 5spd manual,.
The fuel pump relay that i got the last yr sometime to fix the stock one, gave up today, so time for a brnad new one. Cant believe how cheap it is. I paid around $30 AUD for a used one.
How reliable is autovaux??
and will this fit my australian model calibra
thanks
Adam

As per SteveU's answer.
Ideally email them you engine and chassis number, they have EPC and will be able to get the right part for you. The fuel pump relay is a common relay in VX's, same type is fitted in anythign frmo Astra to Omega.

They are reliable and have done over sea's ordering many times.

if its the same type, then yes. All Calibras are the same (whin reason) no matter what contry they are in (all made at the same factory).

All made in a factory in Valmet, Finland.
Saab wanted their factory back to make the Saab 900 so Calibra production eventually came to a halt.

RE: Stampeed
This thread sounds like the closest thing to my current problem...
Is the Fuel Pump Relay that's fitted to a C20XE engine common to any other type of Vaux engine, or is it unique to the XE? I can temporarily cannibalise an X20XEV or an old 18E if req'd.
(My '88 16v Astra GTE has an MOT tomorrow and the git won't start - local Vaux dealer has none in stock!)

Yes its very common, pick any calibra, cavalier, astra...pretty much any petrol fuel injection type of car and you'll find the fuel pump relay is the same. Its a very tall looking relay. I got mine off a Cav c20xe.
PS, if the fuel pump relay is not working, then the ECU is not on, so when you turn the key, you will NOT see the ECU light come on.

Excellent tip, I'll remember that!
Thanks Alan, I'll see what I can find.
