Oil / Volt gauge - wire colours on loom

Any electrical issues

Recently bought ny first Calibra and now can't understand why I never did it before.

It has the white dial oil pressure / volt gauges in situ but they weren't working. Eased them out at the w/end and found that the reason they weren't working was that they weren't wired up.

Mine is a '96 Calibra and has the wires in the loom already but no end plug - either removed for some reason or never there. I now have a plug from a floppy disk hard drive.... and I also have the diagram from the CavWeb for the wiring. But what colour wires on the loom relate to what pin position on the plug.

I'd rather not misconnect and blow anything seeing as how they appear to cost so much

I know this is a wel trodden topic but any help on this would be really appreciated

Hi Trev

On the CavWeb, they give the details of the plug and what goes where ...but not the wire colours from the Vauxhall installed loom. I've found the four small wired nicely wrapped in foam but no plug. If I can find out the wire colours that vauxhall used on their installation I can then match them up to the CavWeb diagram and get going.
