Ok, So I removed my Cat1 from my dead motor and I marked up all the wires(What a very frustrating time I had), Then installed it in to my new motor(soldered and heatshrinked all connections).

I seem to have every thing working ok apart from the bonet/boot sensor, I mean It locks up the car, goes off when it should and so on, But when arming it, It flashes 5 times indicating the bonnet or boot is insecure.
I have swapped the bonnet plunger from my old car(worked fine on it) I have checked the boot plunger(light goes off when pressed) But still have 5 flashs when arming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I phoned the local car elec place and they said -: it could be because you still have the Aftermarket immob wired up or that you still have the Standard vauxhall alarm/immob wired up and having two lots of sonic sensors is fudging up the system!!!

The guy from the shop said to disconnect the vaux ECU for the alarm/immob(Passenger footwell bolted in on the left), Problem fixed so far as the 5 flashes went, But now the car won't start because the various immobs on it!!!!!!

I get all all ignition lights but no turn over(indicating the Starter motor ciruit has a block somewhere)

Am I disconnecting the correct control module?????????????????Cos the manual says sommut about a module on the drivers side for the alarm.

I am getting really frustrated as I only know basic electronics and can't figure out what the f**k is wrong, Can you please help?????

Cheers Mac..

To update, I have removed the aftermarket immob now, I have removed the covers from vaux b pillar/roof sensors but can't find how they unplug.
Am I looking in the right place??

Problem solved now!!,
Took about 2hrs of coffee/tabs and the hynes manual wiring diagrams.

The fault was my instalation with one wire!! :?

From the vaux alarm modual their are three wires which have the same colour and tracer colour??, two negs and one pos, I had connected the wrong neg wire up, so a quick clip clip with a solder here and thier, bit of electrical tape and Bobs your uncle Franks your aunt,
Every thing is now pucka!!!!!

Cheers all the same
