ABS Light

Hi, just a quick query, my abs light keeps coming on every now and again. Anybody got any suggestions why this may be? Also, does anybody know where the sensors are located?

Hi,

I think there's a sensor on each wheel, with a thin electrical cable coming off it, which should help you locate it. Assuming the light isn't coming on under heavy braking (i.e. it's flashing because the ABS is actually doing it's job) I've known the lights to flicker when one of the sensors is dodgy or when the cog-type thing it reads gets clogged with loads of dirt and muck. Sorry I can't be more specific, but I've not had much experience with faulty ABS myself.
