Alternator mate

its faulty, you will need to replace it, common fault

get a multimeter and put it on then see if bad voltage is coming out

If its a redtop:

First check the earth strap from the bracket on the alternator to block.

Sorry I should have explained that mine is an ecotec but I have noticed that my heated seats, stereo and my heated rear screen have stopped working.......I am convinced that it is a fuse !?

HMMMMMM have you checked all your fuses??

they are located in the panel on the right just below your steering wheel.

Its a bit strange that has gone off - but if you alternator is knackered then it won't be able to run those things cos no juice is coming back in to power it (might be wrong though).

I would check the earth strap and the alternator mate to be honest
