reverse switch

Any electrical issues

reverse switch

Got one of these and fitted it - no difference discovered the reverse lights were missing (or at least one was) replaced with one i got at the scrappy, still nothing.

I think i'll get my mates live tester to see if they're getting power before i buy a new set of bulbs.

Any other suggestions appreciated!
cheers

Bridge out the reverse light switch plug with a piece of wire and that will test the whole light circuit (So long as the fuse is ok) That will tell you whether or not it was just bulbs or the switches you have are knackered

If you look at the battery, look slightly left and then down you will see the clutch release arm on top of the gearbox. Hidden underneath you will see a little two pin connector plug. This is the reverse switch. The switch is definately the prob with yours - common fault
