might be something to do with that connector onto the air mass meter maybe how u mean rough idle as in its jumping about or the engine is running rough

The whole car was a bit shakey you know, and the exhaust was kind of burping [img]/smile.gif[/img]. But I found out what it was. That bloody garage. They must have removed the airbox to make it easier to get to something. Now you know the bottom half of the airbox has like a push fit plastic tube which is like an angle and goes down a bit. Well my air flow pipe is attached to that. But that piece wasnt attached to the airbox [img]/smile.gif[/img] And the pipe was completly squashed so not much air would have been able to get through. So they must have just rammed the pipe back down the hole and got it caught. And of course the end wasnt sitting in the right place on the toe eye cover. So cleaning those bits must have had an affect to make it run bad whilst it had a crap air flow. Bloody garages cant trust noone can you.

But touch wood went to pick my daughter up and no ECU light came on [img]/smile.gif[/img]
