V6 electrics
Since fitting the coil pack earlier, I have now found and fitted a new fuel relay but yet again, still no joy. Also, I went to get some petrol ready for the early hours and when I tried to restart, it wouldn't even turn over for a little while so whatever it causing the problem could also have caused this too.
Still plan to attempt to get to Trax tomorrow though.....just look out for cally "Kangarooing" down the road as the engine stops and starts!

Ok peeps. Really stuck now and would apprciate any input to this problem. I have now also replaced the ignition amp and still no change. Its gradually getting worse and has become rather expensive in parts now all of which haven't fixed it.
Does anyone have any other ideas as to what it could be....with no fault codes?

Yeah, all electrics got changed druing the conversion. It runs exactly as a V6 would normally.....just without extra's like TC and aircon. The engine has run fine for well over a year (except a coil pack 8 months ago) and this has only started recently.
Now looking for an ECU peeps....gotta keep trying new stuff til it works!

The fact that you get no fault codes might suggest a temporary fuel pressure loss. I would run a temporary 12V feed directly to the pump so bypassing all the obstacles that can get in the way of the pump running continuously. Fairly easy to do and can help rule in or out a fair bit of the ECU wiring.

Good ideas peeps. I'll check those tonight and let you know what happens....the earths especially as the car gave up completely last night as it won't start now either! All dash lights light come on correctly including ECU light but when you turn the key to start, they dim to about half their brightness until the key is released again.

Thanks. There is a slight leak from the rocker cover gasket but only down the outside of the engine. The plugs are fine. Not only that but oil near the plugs wouldn't stop the engine from turing over during attempted start up like it is doing.

The not turning over thing is also intermittant. Agreed though - if/when it doesn't, I need to be ready with a multimeter to trace where the power is not getting through.
I was just hoping some other people may of had ideas to any other parts which may cause the fault.
................on a plus side, and a huge surprisement to many people, I've spent the last few days looking for a beast of the road to buy......Skyline GTR R33 V-spec!!!! :icon_mrgr Had to find something to cheer me up.
