Air Con - Broke!

Well its sods law really, a hint of sun and warmth and I get a problem.
When I press the button for the aircon nothing happens, no light on, it doesnt pull on the engine, absolutely nothing.

I presume the system has a fuse, which I havent actually checked as it was only on the way to work that Ive noticed it.
Any ideas? Sound familiar?

She was supposed to be going in the paper for sale this week too!

Sounds like it needs regassing - the condensor will not come on when there is insufficient gas in in there.

Even with no gas pressing the button should have a noticeable effect on the engine revs for five seconds or so.

I would certainly check the fuse box when you've got time and with any luck that will be the problem. These things aren't cheap when they go wrong - mine just cost me £450 for a new condensor, drier, and regas.
