Rotor arm
Tried out that noswizard mod on the rotor arm and now getting a misfire under harsh revs. I got the rotor arm from halfrauds so not sure it's the right one. Is it a different part number for the C20XE/C20LET/X20XEV rotor arm?
As the arm wasn't snug going on I'll assume this is the snag for now. Or can the arm be glued on?

check the resistance of your modded arm and get back to me<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Checked the resistance of the arm before installation. Showed 0.1 Ohms on the fluke. Close enough for me!
Vauxhall today quoted me the part numbers being all the same for the different 16V models. Maybe I was just unlucky and have a crap halfrauds nearby who stick any old item into any old box for sale! Will have to wait till thursday as vauxhall don't stock them. The podgy bloke behind the counter got a bit ****ty when I said I wanted club discount as well! . Won't need the car till thursday evening so that ain't to bad.

Check this Link out. Now I reckon this guy knows his ****!

I reckon you could use it on the XE engines. But don't think you'll notice anything. It's mainly to give the ignition system a bit more ooompphh when having to ignite a mixture under extreme pressures. ie over 20PSI on a turbo engine. Might be a handy mod if your taking your block to the absolute limits.

get it from vauxhall, shame on you for giving money to those halfords idiots. i tried buying a set of plugs for my car 6 months ago from these monkeys, i specifically asked for bcp 7ev ngk( might be wrong code now cant remember off hand) but all they kept repeating was "what car is it for" so i kept repeating thats irrelevent as my car is modified, after repeating this a few times had to tell spotty t**t to stick it and walked out. the rotor arm mod is highly recommended i was very impressed and i think your problem is definitely the price of shopping at a store that employs 12 year olds!
