Aircon re-circ hose???
Hello,
I have a re-circ swith on my centre console for the aircon that was installed with the aircondition last year. I have noticed that for this to work, there is a thin hose coming out from the heater box behind the dash that goes on a "T" vacuum connected somewhere on the intake manifold area. If i remove the hose the re-circ stops operating. Is that correct? Why the heck is it connected on a vacuum? I realy need to know if that is correct because the car is having major issues when the aircon is on. As I am driving and i come on a full stop on traffic lights the car seems unable to find its idle. The boost gauge shows that from 40-50 vacuum (normaly 60 with aircon off) the needle moves impatiently towards 0 and the car stutters then dies. Might that be re-circ mechanism being connected falsely? Where should it be connected?
Other than that the aircon seems to put the car temp to 100 when on and it doesnt do much of a job when the car was in the sun and the dash is realy hot. Is there a mechanism to prevent hot water from entering the heater matrix in summer? I am thinking of installing a manual valve which I will remove from my moms Jetta.
Also there is a fan blowing air on the aircon condenser (this one lies just after the bumper grill), while there is the original metal fan on the inside sucking air. Isn't the condenser fan distracting air from entering the engine bay? Should i remove it? How should the fans be connected? Both the aircon and rad fan? Mine are connected together and i dont seem to have 2 modes on the rad fan. If the car is cold and i put the aircon on the fan doesnt spin. It will only start when the rad fan kicks in. I think this is wrong.
Would appreciate it if someone had the wiring diagrams for the aircon, fans (electrical connections/ wirings), and the rest of the hose (mechanical) connections to make sure everything is right and what needs to be done.
Help is highly appreciated.

mate. i bought the car from an owner not a garage. he paid the garage, which was the opel specialist doing the job out of opel garage to make money himself (you know what i mean). I cant take the car back now. The owner is now out of the country. So, i'm stuck here. I am looking for a solution not just take the car back after a year.
