heated seats question

heated seats question

right i have got the switches and found under the dash the plugs for the switches so they turn on and of ok pulled out both front leather seats and pulled all the carpet back but cannot find the ends that plug into the seats followed it back from the switches behind the glove box to the loom still carnt find the plugs should they be there? if not whats the point in having the switch plugs i dont understand please sombody help as im pulling my hair out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think they just dont get very hot, mine still dont feel any warmer than the rest of the car

Mine do get nice and warm.

Have you looked in the channel that runs across the car? As you may find that they have been tucked away in it.

yes mark checked all the way left to right still no joy carnt understand it mabey i should just tapp in the back of the sitches and run new wires and conectors wha do you think?

The wiring that connects to the seats should be taped up in the loom that runs across the car from side to side, just in front of the metal reinforcement box section under the soundproofing.

It is not obvious to see as the plugs aren't that large and VX fold the wiring loom back on itself when they tape it into the main loom.

ah i see so it is under the seats on the loom i have looked under the carpet the dash in the box thingy under the seats in the back of the car lol will take apart again tomorrow will it be pass or drivers side

1 on each side,1 on drivers side for drivers seat and 1 on other side for other seat

Mine never had any wiring, to the seats, but the wiring was there for the switches, check in the main connector in the passenger footwell the wires may stop there?
Don't count me on this but this is what I think it was,
check passenger conector;
pins, 4R and 32L
Passenger wire = Red/Black
Driver wire = Yellow/Black

well i just said bu**er to it and cut the wires going to the plugs and tapped into them got the seats working all set for the winter no more cold bums for me has anybody tried the back seats
