i have yet another problem ............another strange one
when the car is warmed up in the drivers side single air vent i get nice warm air
and the same goes for the passenger single air vent.........nice warm air
but in the twin air vents by the hazzard switch i get freezing cold air
what on earths going on have the vents evolved and gained a rudementry intelligence and decided to mock the driver????

unfortunately this is how they are designed. they are designed to give cooler air , so as to keep a balanced mix to the density of air in the car, stupid i know. get rid of them and have your stereo there. i'm going to do that!!!

I've always found the two centre vents to give slightly cooler air than the side vents. It shouldn't be freezing though, just cooler.

what?!?!?!? thats absoloutly stupid when im driving in this feeezing cold weather my left arm goes blue from the freezing cold air coming out the vent
why on earth have a balance of air? surely to not let the air get to dense you would ..............i dunno say something reallly drastic and unheard of and maybe open the window???? :freak3:
sounds like a good idea about the stereo in the middle ill give that a shot at the weekend ill hafta start asking around n find the easiest way to do it
best put on my begging face again

You could always close the vent.

If you take the vent out, you see that the ducting has holes in it, this probably drags cold air into the flow. but its never going to be warm

Not so sure it is a stupid idea myself - I found that if you angle them up and in towards each other you get a breeze of cold (er) air into the car without it blowing into you or the front seat passenger.

Of course just closing the vent is always a good idea as well (as said above) but I like to have fresh air coming into the car as well, so always left it open. Mind you, closing the vent didn't always completely stop the air, so THEN you angle the vents straight DOWN and into each other... you get a slight breeze on your hand if you rest it on the gear lever then.

yeah ive noticed that when i close it i still get a slight brooze coming in
i cant change the angle tho cause i punched the vents so there snapped and i aint got round to going to a scrappy lol ie found if you want fresher air coming in i crack the sunroof upwards just very slighly when im doing a decent 35 the air curls n drags into the car like an air vent
