How many types were fitted? as standard?

My Turbo goes HONK HONK HONK when set off yet the 16v goes WEEWOOWEEWOOWEEWOOWEEWOO when it feels like it. And they are both bloody loud, the 16v keeps going off when im driving tho.. bloody annoying to say the least.

the 1st time mine went off on the turbo i had the bonnet open, and locked the doors, then connected the battery, i got a honk and a wailing siren, i presumed one was seperate thinking the battery had been dissconected alarm, its never done it since always honking no siren

Pretty sure some models had a battery powered siren, its supposed to go off if the main feed to the battery was cut. Its underneath the wiper cowling if thats what you call it? If you take the wipers off and lift up the plastic bit. Thats where I put my aftermarket siren so its hard to get at plus the module is behind the glovebox so made life easier. The standard alarm on mine just went honk honk too. Hope this helps
