Low level sensor in your sump.

Did you put the same grade of oil you normally use in? Last year I put some thinner than normal oil in the V6 and that light kept coming on. I went back to my usual, and it's not come on again since. I can only think the thinner oil I used was too thin for the sensor to properly detect it.

Mine did exactly the same ....and turned out to be a dodgy sensor in the sump.. it should not matter rearly what viscosity the oil is for it to sence it as it works on oil level....

regards and happy new year
