temp gauge on speedo not working..

car temp gauge doesnt seem to move anymore, staying at 0 degrees, was fine until i was under the bonnet clipping back in some loose hoses. any idea what i could have done? thanks

Check the little spade connector on the side of the engine, it can fall off or snap ...
Mine came off a couple of years ago as it was loose, I just gently bent the 'prongs' in a little and it's been fine since..

infact, i noticed a wire coming out from near the air meter with a spade connector , but couldnt see where it should be pluged into

Mine does it all the time too, the connection is on the side of the engine (small mushroom nipple kinda thing). Give it a good clean as well.
