HOT CRUISER EVENT, SHEFFIELD ARENA JULY 24TH
yes tap onto it in the engine bay as everyone has said.. do it inbetween the sensor and the connector up by the brake servo, that way any problems and it can be replaced with a new sensor.
Wire the earth to a GOOD ground on the engine its self, that way it shares earth with the sensor itself to avoid voltage drop across the origional loom etc...
And wire the plus to a good stong life switched feed, depending where you firt your gauge directly off the ignition barrel is quite handy other power feeds for peripherals radio/lighter/lights etc etc again all suffer poor voltage regulation and a fair drop so can cause some again to give poor/false readings
