Anyone know how to fit a chip

just opened up my ecu (2.5 v6) trying to change my chip but the new one ive got is 2 pins shorter than the on already in there, anyone know where it goes?? left, right or middle??

Hi, Scott whats the ECU number and how many pins on the chip ?

I think the upgraded ones for the v6 are shorter than the originals. You just have to make sure pin one is in the right place.
