Sunroof Screws????
Hi guys, right yesterday at the Clumber Park meet I asked if anyone knows why my sunroof still makes the normal opening sound but the roof doesn't actually open. Sofaman took one look at what reg my calli is anf then said he knew exactly what its. He popped the little circular cover next to interior light and found a brass screw in there. He then explained that i should remove the lining at screw it back it. To my horror I found another screw in the back of the roof and also couldn't find any holes for them to go in. Any ideas guys cuz this is driving me nuts:frown:

Hi badger, the best I can do at the mo is this pic of the holes when the motor is removed. The brass holes are where the motor screws in. All 4 cables are ment to be straight. Hope this helps, if not I'll try and find some more pics. Ohh make sure you tighten all 4 screws and use thread lock unless you want to fix it again

yeh, i tried taken the motor on and off a couple of times after i had made the cable straight and managed to get the roof to at least move if i need it to but it wont close properly. You can hear it closing so far and then makes a clunking sound as if something is jamming the roof open.
