It's suppose to be a 20amp fuse, Have you checked the earth to the lighter ?

RobbieV, is the earth for the lighter itself just behind the facia?
Just I've got similar probs as in another thread and all signs point to the cig lighter/it's fuse.
Mine had a 10A in there! (yellow), as I 'borrowed' it to replace my blown horn fuse.
I'll be made up if it's just a loose earth on the cig lighter, cos I've got mr glowing batt light, no dash lights on right side etc..

There will be an earth connected to the lighter, just check for any lose or damage wires.

Yeh, sorry Fraz! realised that when I got back to the car to go home and looked at the fuses! LOL
It did indeed have a 20A yellow in it. I went to Halfords on the way home and got a few spares (I know, not the cheapest place but handy on home drive and only place open around here after work). Changed the cig lighter/seats fuse and got woring dash, dials etc
YAY!
Only checking off the lighter I did prior to that was to prise the section out and just push the connectors to make sure they were tight, all seemed OK to be honest.
My horn still blows the fuse as soon as I push it tho !
going on hols 2morow so have to wait till I get back to investigate that one.
(I'll open a different thread, can't see any other topics for horns blowing fuses so far.)

disconnect the horn under the bumper IIRC...try the horn push if the fuse dont blow then your looking at a problem at the horn itself, if it does blow then you need to trace back to the horn push

Cheers Fraz.
I always get them mixed up, kept thinking that the alarm horn was the one hidden away under the bumper while the one in the engine bay was the normal one.
My car gladly pointed this error out to me today when I pulled the plug off the engine bay one and got my ear drums assaulted!
I'll be having a look when I'm back from hols. I hope it's the horn and not the wiring really!
