help gremlin in rear light cluster!!

Hi all

Ive got a problem with my pas side rear light cluster. Started at billing over the weekend usual light on the dash to say its gone but when pushing the brake pedal both bulb failure lights come on on checking the rear light the tail light filament is on push the pedal and the bulb goes out completely thought ok bulb must be knackered go out and get some new ones.
Put new bulb in problem is still there tried several bulbs and some spare holders no luck tried a spare rear light cluster that ive got in the garage and the problem disappears weird eh? :confused:
Any ideas on whats wrong as the lights ive got on the car are tinted and would like to keep them on the car if possible??

Barry, I had this on mine clean the contacts in the light and the bulb holder and bend the contacts out on the holder. Mines fine now.
