What does this code mean?
Just had a mate get a computer to my abs and ecu to solve my abs lamp problem in thread: <a href="http://www.clubcalibra.net/forum/showthread.php?t=26446" target="_blank">http://www.clubcalibra.net/forum/showthread.php?t=26446</a> and it came up with the following code after the old ones were cleared:
19 Brake Switch Open Circuit (on his bosch tech reader thngmy)
37: 5/TC Stop Lamp Switch - Interruption. Check Pedal Switch and Lamp. (after paperclip test)
The man is speaking to Bosch to find out what that exactly means and where I now need to focus my attention, just wanted to see if anyone here would know and what needs to be done.
Also does that code sound like it could cause my problem?
Cheers people

Yea, it was definately 19 Brake Switch Open Circuit.
He must be a plum if he did it wrong as he knew the engine number (c20ne), ecu type, abs system type and all that stuff before he set up the computer to it.
I checked out that site and can't find that code anywhere. I'll do the paperclip test tomorrow and see if it reads the same.

those two lamps are on a printed circuitboard......and I aint soldering that up for sure!
also the oil light stays on until the pressure is up after turning the engine on. The logical one would be the airbag telltale, which goes out simultaneously with the abs light. but again i aint soldering my instruments
