Please help - indicator probs.....
I'm going to try an put my car through an MOT tomorrow to get it back on the road after being off for a year.
Got most things sorted then this strange thing started happening last night that I cant get my head round.
If I switch my hazards on all of the indicators light and flash ok.
If I leave the engine off I can indicate right and left ok.
If I start the engine the hazards still work but indicating left and right doesn't work.
The indicator light on the dashboard stays lit (doesn't flash) and the lights don't even light outside the car.
If I keep switching the ignition off then on sometimes the indicators will flash, but very fast (like when a bulb is blown).
I've checked all the fuses and the bulbs and their all fine.....really baffled on this one.
Any ideas?
Cheers

Had symptoms like this before, in the end it turned out to be the hazard switch itself.
IIRC all the hazard switch is linked into all the indicator circuits.
Try swopping your hazard switch to see if it cures it.

That is so weird, I had exactly the same problem when I got my car!! Hazards work, then indicators don't. Light on the dash stays on, but nothing outside.
What I did was turn the indicator on, then the hazards while the indicator arm was still on, then turn the hazards off and they worked again!
I'll try a new switch as well.
