Please Help

any one got any ideas as to why my alarm keeps going off, its done it 5 time this morning in the space of 5mins, its a standard vauxhall alarm

A nackered battery can cause problems with the alarm.

might be windy and you've left a window open a bit ...... or an air vent?

iv tried both suggestions iv ended up diconnecting my horn. there was a red light flashing on the sensor last time it went off it that gives ne1 any ideas

You can read fault codes on the alarm system just like engine codes, but please note it don't work on later calibra's [img]/smile.gif[/img]

how do i do that mine is a 92 j

after you lock the doors,if the interior led flashes for 10 seconds or more then there is a fault with the bonnet or boot sensor.if you suss out whats wrong then let me know as ive got the same fault and i'm to lazy to investigate it,,lol

that makes sense acually cos iv just put a new tailgate on the car so chances are its probably the boot pin

my cars alarm constantly goes off when the battery is connected so ath the moment i have to disconnect the battery to stop everything and i had to cut the wire to my 2ndery alarm witch runs on a separate battery but my interior LED light flashes constantly and i can hear a ticking coming frm the glove box like an indicator and i checked the indicator and hazard light but it will stop after a while im not sure what it is but now my passanger door wont open and my petrol flap is locked tight and i have to open my boot from the inside allthough the drivers door opens if you know whats wrong with it or how i could fix it i would b v v v gratefull cheers
