A Little Switch Help

by JesterV6 » Mon Feb 12, 2007 10:34 am

Morning All,

Right, pretty soon I'm going to be changing over the switch lights and gauge lights on the centre console to LEDs. I have the soldering iron, the LEDs, the resistors, heat shrink and the guide to doing it...but...

One thing that puzzles me (and yes, i can be quite simple at times) is this: when you are driving at night, the symbols on each switch are supposed to glow so that you can see them. Then, when you switch them on they have a light to show that they are active.

Does that mean there are 2 bulbs for each switch? If not then how does the switch glow in the first place?
