One Touch Window Close!

Hi there Boys and girls.

My windows used to open/close with one touch. (dont have to hold button to bring it down, 1 long push makes it go fully up or down).

However since my alternator was replaced they havent worked. they still go up and down but no longer work on the one touch. Any ideas?

I had to jump start car and disconnect battery, could this have done it?

you need to hold them down each way hold till it goes all the way up and keep it pressed in, needs to be done for approx 5-10 secs i think and then do it going down and do each window in turn

try it and see how you go on

willl give that a go, sounds odd but hey if it sorts out the problem then who cares how odd it sounds.

yeah reprogram them, just hold the button in both directions, about 3 seconds longer than required will be enough

Keeping the button pushed for little longer sorted it out.
