very low voltage at fuse 19
i recently posted a question about my 4x4 not working.
trying to eliminate the prob,
NO clicking of solenoid when brake pedal is pressed
NO drop or change in power steering level when engine started and pedal pressed
just tried a voltage test at the contact point where fuse 19 is held and i`m only getting 0.33volts, i would of thought to have seen 12v and 14 when engine ticking over,
does anyone know what the voltage should be????????

mine is the single wire type, would that do the same???
cheers

thing is now the tyre treads are different, prob 2mm at the most, wondering if town driving will be ok are should i get new ones.

<!--QuoteBegin-Rusty_CallyT+--><div class='quotetop'>(Rusty_CallyT)</div><div class='quotemain'><!--QuoteEBegin-->id not risk running on odd tyres (well within reason) if your sure they are within the 2mm zone then you should be fine<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
they are all the same make, got new alloy and tyre package.
would the temperater switch not just shut down the box then start it up again when its cooled down?

<!--QuoteBegin-Rusty_CallyT+--><div class='quotetop'>(Rusty_CallyT)</div><div class='quotemain'><!--QuoteEBegin-->yes but its a bit slow to do so and damage can occur, repeating it will weaken the thing and cause issues with the VC
its certainly not recommended!<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
might get new tryes for back then,like u say not good risking it,, now that ive finaly got it it,,, ha ha ha
