window motor....help !!!!

ok guys...help needed please,
the motor on the passenger side window has started working intermittently,i've checked all the wiring and power is getting to the motor ok,and the switch is fine.is the motor removeable without taking the whole mechanism out , if so are they repairable or is it a replacement job??

This happened to me a couple of years ago. There is a control box on the back of the mechanism that was broken and I got a 2nd hand one fom a scrap yard and replaced the whole lot by drilling the rivets out and swapping them over.

i paid £10 for a window motor as my passenger side was being a cow one min it would go up the next it wouldnt and evenutally it wouldnt go up at all (sods law when the window was OPEN)

if i was you id get to the scrappy and get one !!
