Any electrical issues

heated seat help

i always presumed that the loom was the same or the wires for the heated seats would be under the carpet some where, even if the seat were not fitted as standed can any one point me in the right direction, and i know i dont need them at the moment, but it would be nice to conect them,

lifted both carpet sections back and looked under the soundproofing?

they are there some where,
all calibra's have them as standard

as i did pull back the sound proofing it was wet, not happy about that

it'll be the blocked drain on the front of the bulkhead probably

Oh no they dont I had to wire them into my old 8v

Afaik the loom that plugs into the seats plugs into somewhere in the drivers footwell up by the ECU

I wired mine straight from the switches cant remember the wire colours thou, easy enough just two wires for each side unless you decide to attatch the earth around the seat area.

would any one know what the plugs look like that plug in to the switch and that go under the seats

ok found the plugs for the switchs just belowe the cd slot, still no sign of the plugs that go in to the seats

My old SE1 had the wiring. it ran around under the long trim panel and then across the front of the raised ridge under under the carpet below the front of the seats on both sides. think it was a brown wire with a connector on it.

ok all done know,
scrap yard found the two plugs on another one cut a good length on both of them, and wired the two the switch, all working, thank you for the advice
