Have acquired the VDO gauges for the SE2 but would like to know where the best place is to send the wire through the bulk head to connect it up.

me I used the main wiring grommet right behind the expansion bottle....though you will need something to poke it through with ( I nicked one of the wifes knitting needles) taped wire to that and pushed it through

sorry to hijack the thread, i need to check my connection of the sender wire on the engine block, where would i find it on an 8v and what colour should it be.

Will be putting in the gauges soon, but what is the best way to join the wires
into say the DID for the live wire, light dimmer etc. Do i cut the wire and then
rewire into one of those plastic block things or can i slip the wire into the already
existing connection on the DID?
