Sun Roof Motor Cog

Just took the roof lining out so that i can renew it, so i thought i could have a good look to see why my sun roof is not working. When i go to use it it sounds like its jumping a cog.
i tighned everything up on the motor, and still the same so i had a closer look at the cogs and noticed that the smaller of the two was missing teeth, the rest was all smooth.
i tried to open it using a alan key aswell and nothing, it moves the slider on the underside of the sun roof an inch, and thats it.
here is a photo of the cog, can i get a replacement cog if thats the fault? Or could there be another fault? any ideas??
