ABS, reverse lights and high beam....

ABS, reverse lights and high beam....

3 questions....

ABS
I had to lock-up the other day in my calibra to avoid a crash-and-burn happening, however my abs didn't work! Instead i have flat spots on all 4 tires any idea why the abs never kicked in? I have checked my fuses and none are blown.

Reverse Lights
My reverse lights work when they want to. I'd say 2 out of 3 times they DON'T work, I've pulled the clip out of the gearbox and cleaned it and put it back but still no good.

High Beam
Also my O/S high beam doesn't work so removed both bulbs and switched them over, still didn't work with another bulb, and the bulb i suspected broken didn't work in the N/S. That means that both the connection and the bulb didn't work though the bulb doesn't look broken upon inspection..very puzzled any ideas?

Check the fuses for highbeam.
I blew all of my light fuses out the other day while tinkering..

Regarding reverse lights - any corresponding issues with Fuel computer and/or it's backlight?

come again?

I'll take the dash out and have a look see if there is a bulb in there, There are signs of attack with the screwdriver around the dash lol. Will take alook and get back 2 you. If the light has been removed what will that mean? other than it must have been on, but does that mean its foobered?

ABS could be down to a few things, Bulb, Sensors, fuses etc... check the bulb first, I had a problem with this and it turned out to be a crack in the track on the back of the dash circuit bit... bit of solder later and it was working again...
