Dis pack on a C20LET

I`m wanting to do away with the standard distributor and rotor arm on my calibra turbo C20LET, as they wear out. But i`m not wanting to change the ecu. Is there any way I can do this. I was looking at luminition and dis packs but i`m not to sure whats involved.

would i be right in saying that you could use the camshaft from the later c20xe engine like i have with the sensor on the end or would there be to many complications in that idea?

I know EDS were working on this, but it was ditched for some reason.

Aftermarket management is the only way.
