Coded keys....
just a wee question for those in the know...
what do the keys actualy imobilise? the chips in the ecu?
ie later chips in an HD ecu in a calibra turbo

Are you sure? So everyone with a chipped calibra turbo has no immobiliser any more? (that would affect insurance premiums badly!)
From what I have read the immobiliser code is stored on a hard-wired code chip on the ECU circuit board, and not the EEPROM chips which you replace with the phase/EVO upgrades. Specifically to avoid the above problem...
