Volt meter

Hi guys,
When i start the Cally the volt meter dosnt work, the rear heated window do'snt work and the wipers are slow untill i Rev the car past 2000 revs then all is ok.

Do they all do that or have i got a problem.

This sort of thing happens usually when the "priming" wire is knackered... the small ?blue? wire from the back of the alternator, goes to the positive of the battery via the dash bulb, so perhaps your battery bulb in the dashboard is blown or something similar?

Ahh thank you Stupink i will have a look at that in a minute.

Hi, I checked the dash and true the battery bulb does not light up. Is this easy to replace, i.e without getting the dash out. if it is replaced will it cure my problem.
