C25XE conversion specialists west mids south west area??
Can anybody help me i have a C25XE in a cavalier calibre. was running bu then gave up.seem to have no spark but fuel pump running etc.
i have changed the crank sensor the ignition amp and coil pack but stil nothing.i have also tried a complete new wiring loom and also ECU,
im really at the end of my teather and wondered if anybody new of a conversion specialist that i can get the car trailered too have a look at it?

I am based in hereford .so worcester west midlands or south west cardiff etc etc ??

the wiring loom doesnt have a diagnostic plug.is there any way of reading this from certain pins off the ecu plug?

no its non immobilsed the PN type

so if i use a 12v lamp if i put one wire to pin 22 the other to earth? and connect pin 13 to earth ?correct?

ok just tried that the lamp didnt work??
checked lamp to see if it worked off battery and it did so not a faulty lamp.

and tried it with two ecu's and neither have worked.

isnt there a live wire that goes from the ecu to the battery ? is it conected

yeah that is connected as i dabbed the light + onto pin 18 and it lit up.??
The 12v ignigtion feed that goes to pin 4 ot the ignition amp is also in place too...

will try that first thing in the morning.sorry to be a pain.but will the flashing start if i just turn ignition on or do i have to crank the car over?

so will the light start flashing when i turn ignition on or only if i crank over the car?

it will just start flashing no need to turn engine over
