Remounting the alternator

has anyone ever or has anyone ever thought about putting an other alternator on to a v6 in place of the air con pump, i cant see it being to much of a hassle just need a bracket made up so the belt still fits,

could i not put a bigger pully on to stop the slipping or would that cause it too fast and F*** up, the reason i need to do somthing is the install takes more power out than i can put back into the batterys when its at shows and only on idle

1 hour or so depends on what all is turnned on 3 x amps, ps3, 19" tv 2x7" tv smoke machine 8x speakers and sub + all the leds

get a split charger and put another battery in and make sure its a gel on so if it runs down completly flat it wont damage it

upgrade the alt and upgrade the batery terminals and wire...

its got a marine battery in the back all ready with a split charger and an uprated 120watt alternator, it could do with a larger gauge wire for the split charger but there still wont be enough power from one alternator, remember when at shows its only on idle

in the early 90,s on big installs, they used to use 2,to 3 + alternators on there installs,so maybe getting in touch with some one from a company like fusion,vibe or someone who build installs
