have code reader from halfords checked it and all that came up was crank sensor, i think thats code 31.but thats because engine not cranking.i thought it could be something to do with motion sensors as even when not locked motion sensor lights up all the time even when doors aint locked.could this be something to do with imobilliser.cheers only stay down road at kelty.

Re: no spark or fuel
try seeing if you get any alarm code by shorting pins A&H...what code reader do you have ??
I though the EML light had to flash while cranking for a immobiliser fault ..is it flashing or just on?
oh the code is flashed out on the ultrasonic led in the roof lining, passenger side

Re: no spark or fuel
Its a gunsons fault finder obd1 that I have.engine management light stays on all time does not flash even when turning over.battery fully charged.I noticed the motion sensor light stays on when car is unlocked constantly on but when locked it flashes as normal.don't think light should be on constantly which makes Me think it could be immobiliser, but not sure if it cuts spark and fuel

Re: no spark or fuel
I would try a ignition amplifier module ...mine sat for a long time and it blew, they are about £25

Is their any way to test the amplifier with a multimeter or something.

Re: no spark or fuel
the EML light has to flash while cranking for a immobiliser fault ..if its steady and no other faults come up, the amp would be my first suspect ...some motor factors have a tool to test them...I know WD factors can if your around that way
Re: no spark or fuel
fixed the car now,it was crank sensor put one on and fired up straight away.cant beat an old vauxhall.cheers for all the info boys.
