Cam Sensor Wiring Confusion; please Help ! ! !

I was tinkering around under my 1997 XEV 16v bonnet when the 3 tiny wires pulled out of my Camshaft sensor connector on top of the engine !?

My sensor is an aftermarket uprated one with new wiring (clearly crap). The 3 wires are Red, Yellow & Black & the 3 positions on the plug are: 3, HB & 1

Which wire goes to which connection ?!?!

I’ve compared to another Cali, same year & engine but with original sensor & wiring & the wires match the Haynes wiring diagram in that they are: Brown/Green (to a position 3), Grey/Red (to a position JPT) & Grey/Black (to a position 1)

I just want to reconnect rather than order a new sensor if possible

I've thought about ordering a new sensor complete with plug & cable but they are all have just wires at the other end, so I'd be no better off

Can you take a picture of the connector showing where the wires should go in?
