whats with my car?!

Hiya

whenever i turn the interior light on in my car via the switch on it
i seem to get my instrument panel lights on and the electrical fault symbol flashing

and if i leave the indicator in either postition when im out of car the brake light and n/s headlight stay on

is this an earth problem where do i start?

no i can get those on its just as soon as the interior light is switched on from the actual roof scuttle panel..

and it becomes a b***h to start as well afterwards just dont get it i had the earth to chasis checked this was ok

what could it be? not a huge problem but annoying all the same

i've recently installed an mp3 stereo but i took that out and the problem still remained nothing else has been added

also i noticed the engine keeps running for a few secs after iginition is off, must be something fkin stupid but i found out by having a play so good job i did.. as long as the switch is in the off posistion its ok

can anybody help?
