LEAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any electrical issues

by sabotage » Sun Jan 30, 2005 8:47 pm

Just got back from a trip up to Scotland and I am leaking something. I pulled up a few times during the day and noticed a trail of what looked like oil spots following my car. I checked the oil and it is fine and furthermore, the substance dripping didn't feel like oil to the touch. It was a clear, greasy type substance. No warning lights have come on but its dripping quite fast.
Any ideas?

The leak was............

A petrol leak!! Got a mechanic to look at it and he said there is corrosion all round the fuel pump. Good news is that it will be relatively cheap to fix.
Thanks for the ideas lads!

It has probably melted some of the underseal, which is why its not evaporated off, i woud have thought it would still stink tho.. be sure the fault goes away after he's repaired the section
