blank thermometer reading --.-c

my thermometer display is not reading anything just --.-c
in the calira manual it says this is a fault
does any one know how to fix it???

I believe that this means that the outside temperature sensor needs replacing.

Most likely cause will be the sensor and will cost about £15 for a replacement.
It pokes through the bottom of the front bumper on the right hand side (if you're looking straight on to the car).
