dull lights due to alternator?

by se6 » Sat Feb 26, 2005 11:41 am

Mine lights arent too bright at the moment. When i put them on full beam the battery light glows slightly. Obviously i need a new alternator, could this be the reason for them being dull? And if so will a larger alternator when i have mine changed sort it out?
I thought id look into it before i go to my garage.
Cheers

If it is youre alternator than Yes.
Try 100Amp for 8v, 16V of 125 Amp for V6, Turbo

But don't rule out youre battery.
This could be the reason, and a new battery is al lot cheaper

I know its not the battery as it is only a few of months old, and the light in the top of it is still showing green.
