Power Steering...
1st, does anyone know the differance between D2 and D3?
now my problem:
Changed the PAS fluid on the turbo for 2 reasons.. 1: it was black 2: i needed to change the pressure switch on the 4x4 accumulator
Iv read a couple of things that say use D2 but i had D3 so used it to refill the system.
I bled the system as per the guide on cav16 and all seems well... except the pump is whining all the time unless the accumulator is charged and the wheels are centered (when its under no load at all) as soon as you turn the steering wheel u can hear it.
I dont remember it ever being this loud before.
Whats the problem? is it air still in the system? or because i used D3?
Any ideas? is the pump in danger? dont wanna have to replace it!
