V6 discs

What work would be required to put V6 discs and calipers on a 1994 2.0 16v redtop? Any guides on any other forum posts or anything like that?
Any comments appreciated.

why do you want to, 16v's have 4 stud, v6's have 5 stud mate, just go for bigger brakes with 4 stud instead

Yes it would involve re-drilling the discs to 4 stud every time you changed them, you would need V6 calipers and carrier/bracket.
You can get a 288mm 4 stud brake upgrade from LMF for £200. Or 308mm £325.

Ah, didn't know the v6 were 5 stud. Thanks for that. Correct me if I'm wrong, which I usually am when it comes to cars,ha! but if my car is 4 stud and the v6 is 5 stud to get the v6 discs on I would need to do a hub conversion right? I was just looking at 'second hand' but basically un-used discs and calipers.
The whole conversion would be a lot of mechanics time eh?
£200 for both front discs and calipers?
I was told golf VR6 discs would fit in nicely and would be an upgrade. Anyone got any ideas/comments/prices on them?

Thanks again folk,

Matt

I've just(3 months ago) changed to the LMF 308mm discs on the V6 and they are starting to work very well.

It has taken sometime for them to bed in, as I only use the car at the week ends.
Mark...........It's Red........It's a V6............It's an SE9!..............and She's bad.
