more likely std stuff like wheel balanceing, warped wheels, uneaven worn/damaged tyres, under/overinflated tyes, poorly mounted brake disks, unbalanced shafts etc etc.

i agree, check all this cheap fix stuff first before doling out the dosh to find you didn't need to in the first place. i had terrible wheel wobble and vibration all through the car. turned out i had the spigot rings missing, wheels weren't on tight enough, tracking was out, front wheels needed balancing and tyres were under pressure.
All fixed now and drives beautifully and even fuel consumption has got better.

D what Stupink suggests.

If the problem prooves to be bad, buy another one and sell this one as parts.

It's not worth taking risks as these cars are as cheap as chips now

many thanks guys, im going to have a proper look this weekend, i know for sure its had a bump in the past so hopefully a replacement subframe etc will sort it.

i'll try the cheaper stuff first though!
