Life span of pads?
Hi, guys just wondered what the life span of pads were during ordinary everyday use? Also what are the best pads for all round cost/usage?

Ive had EBC's before and they were really good but ive also heard good things about Black Diamonds pads. As for the life i dont think you can get an acurate answer on that as everyone drives/brakes different, personally i try and use engine breaking as much as poss so mine will last longer than somone that doesnt!!!
Sorry its a bit vague mate!!!

cheers for that guys. On another note, do replacement pads have to be specific ie pad sensors? I had my pads replaced about 6 months ago and whilst getting my wheels done noticed that the front sensors were not connected, that's if they were actually there? The wires were just tucked away? Are sensors a seperate entity?

That's the strange thing, there's no indication at all. So unless the bulb has been remove or there's another explanation then I'm stumped? Will have to check the next time I start the car and see if the check light comes on, if it's supposed to that is?
