rear springs... right way??

Please have a look at the picture I’ve attached. Two springs on the right look like my rear springs but twice shorter. Any idea which way they should have been installed? Usually they're installed with any writing the correct way up.

all its got on it is 4 digit number and the word "front" aor "rear"... it does not say "top" or "bottom"

i found the answer: For the coil’s performance it does not make any difference, but we always recommend to mount the end with the closer coils up to avoid the noise that may arise from gravel, chips etc. slipping in between the coils.
