Wonky Steering Wheel!

by Legacey » Mon Jan 01, 2007 6:27 pm

A few months ago the nearside front wheel hit a bump with some force and had to be straightened out at the nearby garage. But now when the wheels are straight the steering wheel is turned about 30 degrees to the left.

Does anyone know why this is and or how it can be fixed?

To say the least I don't use that garage anymore!:mexwave:

sound like the tracking was put out when you hit the bummp and when the garage put it right they never made sure the steering wheel was straight

when i did the front wheel tracking we did a have small device that sat on the seat and it would jam the steering wheel in one place (straight) before doing the tracking,
so it should be easy fixed

Thanks. I'll take it down to a friend later in the week to see if he can sort it out.
