Hi Guys,

Im looking to lower the calibra on 17" alloys just needed a bit of help and recommendations if possible.

Im a bit confused on how much to lower the car, i want the arches to just sit nicely on top of alloys too give it a nice look. Iv been looking at kits on ebay and they have kit which are 60mm drop at front and 40mm at back. Bit puzzled about this, why would you do this?? anyone know.

But personally im looking at dropping it 60mm all round, will be changing springs and shocks plus other bits like wishbones, cv joints etc.

Any opinions on how the 60mm drop will look and what you guys would recommend in terms of how much to lower the car on 17's without any problems such as scraping or arches rubbing.

Thanks

Amit

60mm has been dune in the past, you will need to get a camber kit for the rears or you are going eat the tryes. You will find that the ride is going to very hard as well.

Most people go for 40mm and don't forget to get the right offset on the wheels.
Mark...........It's Red........It's a V6............It's an SE9!..............and She's bad.
